- CARNIVAL: CHICAGO ARTISTS' COLLECTIVE (charcoll) members and guests, artists and freaks showcase their talents and aberrancies featuring the erotic and potent dance ritual by Burlesque Goddess, CHERISH, from Chicago Burlesque & Vaudeville (and her very very large boa constrictor) at 9pm sharp, KC "the devil-assed boy" Welch with his spectacular paintings from beyond the veil of civilization, Madame Clara Batton Smith's voodoo figurative collage, hill-billy gypsy fiddler & Texan Jason Loveall playing his heart out for art and the Carnival, travel illustrations of the legendary Kalika Bird People of Indonesia and divination sketches by artist and Charcoll founder, E.K. Buckley, adornments no other bazaar can offer for your lady or your gentleman by [WIRED] Jewelry handcrafted by Melissa Kolbusz, another cumulative multi-media piece regarding the word "Carnival" by international art collective "The Lost Tribe", new painting and drawings by Sally Hughes, back from his convalescence... artist David Pearson presents his mystic darkscapes of interdimensional love and horror, the glittering shimmering accessories to lure you in (forever) by guest artist Beata Wadjeman, paintings from the very heart of the traveling carnival by Hungarian native Zsofia Otvos, paintings by David Moskow, paintings by guest Detroit artist Chad P. Hunt, Amanda Delheimer's puppet spectacle, "suitCase study #1: GIRL/BOY/SERPENT/PIRATE" in collaboration with artist Clara Batton Smith to open at 8pm, phreakish photography by Carlos "Cap'n Contortionist" Canario, artist Ned Broderick's fearsome large scale oils, and painter David Simpson's dark blooded sense of light whimsy.
